In order to improve sustainable mobility in urban areas, France launched recently its own concept “Buses with a high level of service“ (BHLS), taking into account the “Bus Rapid Transit” concept developed in Latin America and the USA, as well as, experiences from several authorities, such as Île de France, Rouen and Nantes.
